How do I get something custom framed?

​Whether you know exactly what you want or have no idea where to start, we are here to help! Our expert framing consultants will guide you through the framing process. To get started, all you need to do is bring your artwork into our shop.

 

Do you stretch canvas?

​Yes! We offer 2 types of canvas stretching: traditional stretching and Gallery Wrap stretching. Depending on the size of the canvas, we offer many different sizes of stretcher bars.

Does my canvas need to be framed?

No, it is not necessary to frame your canvas, however we would recommend a gallery wrap stretch that allows the artwork to wrap around the sides of the stretcher bar. Framing can help give a finished look to your canvas if you choose. We recommend a traditional frame or a float frame.

Can you frame a jersey?

Absolutely! Frameworks is recognized as one of Northeast Ohio's premiere jersey frame shops. Every jersey is hand-sewn by one of our expert framers to preserve the value of your jersey. Click on our "Cleveland Jersey Framing" tab to explore different styles and layouts.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

​Yes, with a size and a few details we can give you an estimate over the phone. Your final cost will be determined by materials i.e. frame, mats, glass, etc. We encourage you to bring in your art for an exact quote.

Do you frame mirrors?

​Yes! You can bring in your mirror or we can special order a custom sized mirror.

​

Can you print photos?

​Yes! Photos can be printed on paper or canvas at any size from your phone, email, or a flash drive. ​

​

Are you able to create a shadowbox for an object?

​Yes, Frameworks specializes in object and deep shadowbox framing. We carry a variety of sizes and styles.

Do you do conservation framing?

​Yes, our framing consultants are trained experts in conserving and protecting your art.

​

Do you offer UV glass?

We recommend 2 different types of UV protective glass for your framing:

Museum glass is a crystal clear, glare-free, 99% UV protected glass.

Conservation Clear glass (similar to regular glass) is a 99% UV protected glass.

Both types of glass are also available in a plexi acrylic.

Do you carry Float Frames?

​Yes! A float frame is a sleek, minimalist look for your canvas art. We offer a wide variety of colors, depths, and styles.

​

Which payment types do you accept?

We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, Apple pay, Samsung pay, Google pay, and Cashapp.

​

The glass broke in my existing picture. Can you replace it?

Yes, we can absolutely replace glass in an existing frame.

​

Do you repair frames?

Yes, Frameworks can do repairs on frames depending on the damage. For an evaluation of your frame, bring it in for a consultation with one of our framers. If it cannot be repaired, we can always replace it.

​

I just need a mat. Is this something you offer?

Yes! If all you need is a mat, we can do that in a variety of sizes, cuts, and colors.

​

Do I need an appointment?

No, appointments are not necessary but welcome. We take walk-ins Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:00pm. For evenings and weekends, an appointment in advance is required.
